I began at TCHS as a substitute in a self-contained ESE classroom in 1992.  I subbed that position for well over a year before being hired by the district.  I worked in that classroom for 13-14 years before moving to the SNAP Program at TTI around 2006.  The best thing now is, I am still working with some of the students that I taught at the high school level. 

I have an AA Degree from NFCC, a Bachelor Degree in Elementary Education from FSU, and A Degree in Mentally Handicapps from FSU. I waited several years after graduating from high school to begin my career.  I always wanted to be a teacher, even from a small child.
