 Taylor Technical Institute exists to serve.  The school's primary purpose is to provide quality Career and Technical and adult education through initial employment training, retraining, career advancement, completion of a adult high school diploma, improving basic skills through adult basic education or other activities designed to enrich the lives of the people served.  Taylor Technical Institute embraces the idea that all individuals should have the opportunity to acquire the necessary skills and knowledge to enable them to be successful in the world of work. Taylor Technical Institute is a postsecondary school which exists within the Taylor County School District. The school serves Taylor County, as well as the counties that surround it, including Madison, Dixie, and Lafayette. The school boasts great opportunities for dual enrolled high school students and adult students who want to prepare for a great career or hone their skills in their current  career path.
